The headline today is—does everybody know Caroline? She's with us. The headline today is exactly that. [00:16] Prescription drug prices record the sharpest drop in more than 60 years. Okay, got it? Everybody happy? And I told you that was going to happen. [00:32] The second headline is that the Trump administration marks 15 straight months with zero border relations as apprehensions plunge 94 percent. In other words, the border, and that means for 15 straight months we've had zero people crossing the border. Are you impressed? Is anybody impressed? You are. Thank you. I'll give you the first question. Go ahead. Go ahead, anybody.
President Trump Gaggles with Press at Joint Base Andrews, Aug. 14, 2026
Mr. President, what do you hope to accomplish this weekend?
I have a lot of things that are happening, a lot of good things. The economy is doing unbelievably from the standpoint of Wall Street, we hit another record and it’s like 80 times where we’re the best market in history. And that’s good for 401(k)s, and it’s good for a lot of things, but it’s great for 401(k)s, and I always say it’s great for 401(k)s, so we hit number 80 record. So 80 days out of a short one and a half years, we have a record stock market, 401(k)s have set a new record, and if you take a look at the border, 15 months of zero people coming through our southern border. Pretty amazing. And drug prices again, prescription drug prices down more than at any time over 60 years. Okay, what else do I have to say?
Mr. President, some family members of US service members are concerned about the conditions on board the USS Lincoln. Have you—
No, that ship is moving, we know that. That ship is moving right now, or very shortly, and it's being replaced with another very similar ship.
The deployment's gone on too long. Are you worried about the mental health of our service members?
No, not nearly long enough. Thank you everybody.
